Grand Gongda Jianguo Hotel, Beijing

We had a decent stay at this hotel just outside the center of the festivities. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and we enjoyed the substantial breakfast spread each morning. However, the non-smoking floor had issues with smoke smell that really detracted from the experience, especially for someone with allergies. While the room was comfortable, we faced some air conditioning challenges and the overall decor felt dated.
